Hi my loves!,
Sorry I have been so busy lately but that’s a good thing right?!
I have got some seriously cool things coming out very soon that I can’t wait to show you all!
But until then I can show you some other fun things that I actually can talk about 😉 (Just keep your eyes peeled in March!)
So I figured, in honor of Super Bowl Sunday, I would give you guys a brief recap of a Superbowl party/event that I went to last night called “Leather and Laces.” I went there to cover the event and get some quotes for The NY Daily News (for those of you that don’t know, I do some work there now) and in the process got the opportunity to speak with some pretty cool individuals.
It was hosted at The Liberty Theater in Times Square (which actually says Liberty Diner outside) and was hosted by the great supermodels Adriana Lima & Alessandra Ambrosio. By 10:30pm all the reporters began setting up and prepping. All photographers, video, and print reporters in that order.
No one was sure who these girls were at first, but, I established that they were the bottle girls serving at the event haha!
Is that suit hilarious or what?!
Erin Brady, Miss USA 2013, was super sweet. She showed up wearing a Zara dress & Chinese Laundry heels. She says she’s loving the start of the new year and the “incredible energy.”
Kira Dikhtyar from The Face on Oxygen (Season 2) showed up with blonde hair in an Alice and Olivia dress saying how excited she was to be attending the game today.
Diane Neal of Law and Order SVU and NCIS was quite the riot (as you can see from her laughter) as she said how much of a nerd she was and not a big sports fan.
NY Jets tight end, Zach Sudfeld, was a total sweetheart telling me that he just wanted to have a good time and kick back at a buddy’s house for the game today.
Guy Fieri also quickly made an appearance as well as Renee Graziano of Mob Wives (but she came super late, I just noticed her on my way out).
Ahh and alas the supermodels arrived! Adriana Lima & Alessandra Ambrosio’s bodyguards and “people” quickly escorted them off the red carpet after doing an interview with Fox News, preventing majority of us reporters to get to speak with them, but we did get some photos and videos. (I was happy to see my favs, since I was a young girl, in person).
(High pitched girl scream)
anddd here is yours truly 😉
Working press on the red carpet is quite the ordeal, but a great experience! I hope you guys enjoy this recap and eat plenty of food watching the game tonight! Who are you rooting for and hoping to see???
Love, kisses & football (even though I’m really not a football fan lol),
P.S. Did you just see how amazing Bruno Mars was?! Sheesh.
